MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDERS
A&K recognises that each learner is unique and that in most cases, their history and life experiences to date will directly influence possible progression routes and their target academic outcomes.
We can offer a baseline assessment for each student referred to us or utilise existing assessment data to ensure we set realistic targets for them to support progress monitoring.

"Environment is key in making change, changing mindset from negative to positive is what drives us at A&K. We use our professional skill sets to interact with students and give them hope and freedom to breathe."
Tony Grant, Founder
We view the successful reintegration of any student referred to us back to a mainstream setting as a positive outcome. However, where that is not possible, we provide an annual report which includes suggested routes of progression for their next academic steps.
This is made available whether they remain with A&K or move onto a different setting.
We are committed to providing all of the young people we support with a fresh relationship with learning and to achieve academic success whilst recognising the pressures that schools and local authorities face to deliver more with less.

We are committed to providing all of the young people we support with a fresh relationship with learning and to achieve academic success whilst recognising the pressures that schools and local authorities face to deliver more with less.
Every student we work with is treated as an individual and we work closely with school and local authority colleagues to try to provide the same opportunities to achieve their academic goals as their peers in
mainstream school.
We tailor our provision to the needs of the individual ensuring that however long they may be learning with us, their individual needs are understood and that they can enjoy their study in a safe, secure, and
supportive learning environment.
If your needs change from week to week, you require services that can
respond quickly and efficiently to that change and at no additional cost
to your school or service. We fully understand that the services you need
to support your students must be scalable, able to flex up and down
in response to demand and still ensure every student is treated as an
individual, whether they are placed with us for days, weeks or years.
Delivering and evidencing best value is a key part of any public sector
commissioning process. With increasing demands on a pressurised
budget, schools and local authorities face difficult decisions in the
coming years to balance quality, progression, outcomes, and the cost of
alternative provision.
We offer our customers different pricing models that ensure they are able to respond to short, medium and long-term demand for alternative provision and to increase or decrease the service provision as those needs change.
