A Bit About Danny
Danny is a self-motivated individual who is adept at managing coaching staff within a First Team and Academy setting and driving their development.
Danny has played a key role within a multi-disciplined management team to design, develop and deliver coaching curriculums and game strategies.
Danny is also a forward-thinking progressive coach who possesses a proven track record in Academy coaching and is proficient in leading across all areas of training, match days, player development, talent ID and EPPP guidelines.

FIRST TEAM COACH: BRISTOL ROVERS
I will Integrate our philosophy and style of play to the the first team
and manage and motivate the clubs professional players. I also educate and coach in-line with today’s modern-day trends to develop skill sets.
I execute orders from first team manager, Chairman, CEO and the club’s officials whilst liaising on a daily basis with team manager.
LEAD PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PHASE COACH - BLACKPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB
I monitor, manage and drive the performance and development of the club’s Professional Development Phase squad through tailored coaching in line with Blackpool FC’s philosophy, vision, ethos and player pathway strategies.

Danny had a long career playing for Accrington Stanley, Sligo Rovers, Derry City, Telford United and Warrington Town.

Danny is known for...
Daniel James Ventre (born 23 January 1986 in Liverpool) is an English former footballer who played as a midfielder. He was most recently a first-team coach at Bristol Rovers.
He has previously played in the Football League for Accrington Stanley, and from 2007 to 2013 had played in the League of Ireland for Sligo Rovers.

His previous clubs include Accrington Stanley and Chester City. He helped Stanley win the Conference National in 2005–06 and played for them in the Football League the following season.
In November 2020, Ventre was appointed first-team coach at Widnes where he combined this role with his existing role as a player. Ventre also held the role of Blackpool Under-18s manager alongside this role.
In July 2022, Ventre was appointed as first-team coach at Bristol Rovers. Following the departure of Joey Barton and subsequent appointment of Matt Taylor, he departed the club in December 2023.
